Salesforce Technical Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to support a large-scale enterprise Salesforce transformation program. The program will establish a unified sales and services platform across multiple business divisions, with an initial focus on Sales, followed by Service and expansion across the remaining divisions. The Technical Lead will provide hands-on technical leadership across Salesforce architecture, development, integrations, data, security, and platform delivery. The ideal candidate has experience operating at a Technical Architect level while remaining hands-on with the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities • Lead Salesforce technical architecture and solution design from initial planning through implementation and enterprise rollout. • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. • Design, develop, and review solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs. • Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications. • Provide technical direction to Salesforce developers and other technical resources. • Establish development standards, architecture patterns, and best practices. • Conduct technical and code reviews and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure. • Support data migration, data quality, deployment, testing, release management, and production activities. • Evaluate technical approaches and determine the appropriate use of Salesforce configuration, automation, custom development, and integrations. • Identify technical risks and dependencies early in the program and recommend solutions. • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Business Analysts, Product Owners, business leaders, and implementation partners. • Support Salesforce expansion from initial pilot implementations through broader divisional rollout. • Help ensure the Salesforce platform supports business growth, sales visibility, service opportunities, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years of Salesforce experience with significant hands-on technical experience. • Experience working as a Salesforce Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Salesforce Engineer. • Strong hands-on experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components. • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, automation, security, and platform capabilities. • Experience designing and implementing enterprise Salesforce integrations and APIs. • Experience with Salesforce security, access controls, roles and permissions, sharing and visibility, and secure integration design. • Experience supporting Salesforce implementations from early-stage planning and solution design through pilot and enterprise rollout. • Experience working within complex enterprise transformation programs. • Experience collaborating with project management, business leadership, steering committees, and cross-functional working groups. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • At least one current, active Salesforce certification is required.
